James J. Cipoletta Revere, Massachusetts
In the field of criminal litigation James Cipoletta has more than twenty-five years of experience representing clients who were subjects or targets of criminal investigations or who were accused of crimes. He began his practice concentrating solely in criminal defense. He has built a reputation as a savvy, aggressive defense attorney. When necessary we are able to assemble the correct combination of lawyers and a team of experts in areas such as investigation, polygraph, firearms, crime scene reconstruction, forensics, medicine, and scientific evidence to name just a few. Jim has represented clients in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Florida, Oregon, Texas, Missouri, Arizona, and California. He is certified by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) as a trial advocay instructor. He earned a Master's degree from Harvard University in 1995 and served on the faculty of Harvard from 1995 to 2001 during which time he also performed research at Harvard's Center for International Affairs (CFIA). He currently is an adjunct professor at Suffolk University in Boston where he teaches criminal litigation. Additionally, he has served as a faculty member of the Massachusetts Bar Institute and as a panel member for Continuing Legal Education programs at the Massachusetts Bar Association.
