At the Law Offices of James J. Cipoletta we concentrate on only very specific areas of the law – criminal defense, complex litigation, municipal matters, and zoning & land use cases.
We pride ourselves on our successful representation of our clients in each of these areas. We rely on our success and professionalism to maintain the positive relationships we have with our clients, other attorneys, government officials, and the courts.
Attorney Cipoletta has represented clients in criminal matters in fourteen states. Cases include such high profile matters as murder charges, importation of controlled substances, conspiracy, racketeering, gaming, vehicle homicide, defense procurement violations, and drug and alcohol-related offenses. He also has represented physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals in criminal, administrative, and licensing matters as well as DEA investigations.
Over the years the practice has evolved to include representation of clients who develop condominiums, marinas, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, and major retail centers. A sample of these projects include permitting for Atlantis Marina and Condominium, Wonderland Marketplace, Super Stop & Shop, Ninety-Nine Restaurant, Hess Gasoline, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Sunoco, Thrifty Car Rental, the former Winthrop Hospital site, Dunkin’ Donuts, and dozens of residential developments in Greater Boston and the North Shore. Additionally, Attorney Cipoletta is counsel for several marinas and yacht clubs around the Boston and North Shore waterfront in connection with environmental issues and marina expansion.
